Meghha Gupta is the key promoter of ManiBhavnam. She did her Bachelor in Science in Business from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, a top ranked business institution in USA, where she majored in Finance & Accounting. At Kelley, she attended the Investment Banking Workshop, an honor reserved only for top 15% of the graduating class. She was also awarded the senior honors status by the faculty and graduated with distinction. After her studies, she started her career with KPMG. Subsequently, she joined Autofit Pvt. Ltd., her family concern and an OEM to Hero MotoCorp. Autofit is the largest two wheeler seat manufacturer in the country. In her role as Manager – Strategy, she implemented SOPs across functions, identified and reduced redundancies & related wastages, implemented working capital financing solutions by engaging with various banks & financial institutions. She has also completed the Project & Credit Appraisal Programme from IIM, Ahmedabad, a top-ranked business school in India. In 2015, she decided to move on to follow her passion and dream of setting up a business to bring about financial inclusion which she had envisaged since her graduation days as she observed the stark contrast in the banking system in India and other developed nations. Together with her brother, Ayyushman Mehta, she successfully joined hands with Deepak Joshi, an industry veteran in housing finance sector, to achieve her dream and founded “ManiBhavnam Home Finance India Private Limited” (MBHF). Meghha’s strong business acumen along with expertise in finance and accounting helps in contributing to ManiBhavnam’s vision and growth, in terms of social-impact and financial returns to all the stakeholders.
